During the COVID-19 Pandemic there was an urgent need to establish
online support services, including social and support groups for
LGBTQIA+ young people, and to increase accessibility and engagement
with preexisting online and telephone services. We see an ongoing role
for this kind of support alongside face-to-face options where possible.
This guide aims to outline some key considerations in setting up online
groups to ensure they are safe, accessible and well attended.

Safe Schools
